Hello and welcome! I’m Joshua Griffin, and I’m thrilled to have you here.

This is the very first blog post for Down by the Bay in VA, a platform I created to highlight everything that makes Virginia’s coastal communities so special. Whether you’re looking to move to the area, visit for a weekend, or just enjoy a slice of life “down by the bay,” this site — along with our growing YouTube channel — is built for you.

What Is Down by the Bay in VA?

Born from my love for the Northern Neck, Middle Peninsula, and surrounding waterfront regions, this platform is part travel guide, part community spotlight, and part real estate resource.

Here’s what you can expect:
